Recycled Mailing bags

I was so excited when i found that Etsy
has videos on YouTube. I love how to videos...I've learned various knitting and spinning techniques. Its pretty exciting.

Here's the latest amazingness I found...
Fusing plastic grocery bags...

This worked out perfect since I never seem to have first class mailing bags or boxes. My first attempt ended up a little melty...
Here's the final one. Looks pretty cool and is stronger and thicker than the PO's tyvek bags. I just sealed the edges with packing tape and voila!

Very cool! You'll have to let us know if it arrived to the customer safe & sound! I bet that you'll get a lot of great compliments about these evelopes!

I love this idea. I'm also curious to hear about they survive shipping.

They hold up great. After ironing I had a sheet of really strong plastic I folded into an envelope and taped up the sides so it wouldn't leak water. Then folded over the top and sealed that with packing tape. Thicker and as strong as the USPS tyvek bags...try it, its fun!
