A little bit about me... I'm a designer, seamstress, artist, urban farmer and most recently a student. I am the human behind Jennifer Joy Creative and Noonday Textiles, my own homebased businesses.
Noonday Textiles is my line of eco-friendly hemp fabric. All the fabrics come from sustainable resources and processed
under fair trade conditions. They are wonderfully soft, long lasting
and fun to work with. Fabrics come from a smoke-free environment and are hand-dyed using low impact dyes.
Jennifer Joy Creative is a little bit of everything. Mostly it encompasses my sewing project but I also love to spin yarn so you may find a little handspun here and there.
In my role as a student, I am studying to get my BA in Integrated Humanities with an emphasis on organic horticulture, studio art and apparel and textile design. I am excited to learn the entire life of a textile from seed to finished garment.
I also have a lovely little family that will often make appearances here. I'm pretty proud of them all.
Welcome to my blog. Hopefully we can hang out a little bit and get to know each other. The more the merrier, I say.
